The first GBA Metroid game released and also the last one in the timeline. There was some hype surrounded with this since it had to compete with Super Metroid almost a decade ago. Reviews were all positive, though some fans dislike the linear gameplay and how the game walks you through. This is also one of the few Metroid games to focus on an actual plot. This was released along side Metroid Prime, which allows GC users to link up with it to use the Fusion Suit in Prime & be able to play the original Metroid.

Welp Zebes is blown to pieces, the Metroid species is now extinct, and things haven't been going too well for ol' Samus Aran. Getting her nervous systems attacked, crashing her ship into an asteroid belt, and having her suit pretty much useless and on the verge of death. Sucks doesn't it? Thankfully the last bit of the Metroid Hatchling saved her once again, leaving Samus now part Metroid. Her latest mission is to head to the BSL Station to investigate what all the commotion was about when they received Samus' infected parts. And so our story begins...

How will this be done?
2 Ways:

100% run will be done mainly in subtitles. They'll probably be a few exceptions.
1%(?) run will be post commentary, mainly with another guest. If you wanna guest, contact me on skype or post here.

Update Schedule
Pretty random at the moment. Though I can at least try and get two videos up per week (one or two videos per run or something). Eh, we'll see.

The 1% run has started! In a way, they're also a speedrun since you can look at the 100% run for everything else.

I know I'm held back by my lack of LP Status, but I've played Fusion before, albeit, only once, and I wouldn't mind co-commentating (if it turns out horrible, I'll be happy to do it again). I don't mind which episode I'm invited to do, and I won't mind re-appearing if needed. :)

Thanks to this thread as well as the Metroid Prime LP in SA I started my own 1 percent run of this game.

Hard-core X is mad frustrating, although otherwise it hasn't been too bad. I just need to keep track of my HP since I usually tank the crazy damage some enemies do to you on a normal run through.
