So tell us, what is this game about?
Plot is simple: You are Earthworm Jim, who when given his powersuit, weird his big red gun and shoot to your hearts content...well till you run out of ammo. Princess What's-Her-Name, yes that is her real name, has been kidnapped and it's up to you to save her. You must travel from a garbage dump, to hell and back, and eventually to an ass.

So all you'll have in the game is a gun?
Not exactly. You can also upgrade your gun to a mega gun-ese bazooka. Then you can use your head as a weapon.

Oh cool. But can I ask. What happens to the cow in the beginning?
