Wait, ANOTHER Sonic LP? Haven't we had enough?
Well, searching the web, you'll find LPs of this, but most are usually either crap or of the last version.

Okay, so what are you adding to this then?
What I have in mind is to just be informative and showcase all 5 characters to see what they all do. I'll also be showing the extra acts you unlock once you beat the game with all the emeralds.

Nice, and how is this being presented?
Subtitles. This being my first, and I wanted to try something a bit different.

How are the updates?
New videos will be up between 4-7 days. (At least, I hope so)

Alright. and that's it?
For now it seems. Well about the subtitles in Pt.1, I realized they might be too small for their own good. So Pt.2 might take a bit longer as I'm experimenting with other settings.

Small note - the homing attack was actually first introduced in Sonic 3D Blast/Flickies Island. Admittedly it was only available via a powerup, but it was there well before Sonic Adventure.

Yeah, you think that is good, you should play the game it came from. The Sonic Advance series was a rare return to form for Sonic, and tbh Sonic Team should just stick with that and possibly the Sonic Rush series.

Very entertaining, but am I the only one who had trouble reading some of the subtitles? I guess they're fine the way they are, but I sometimes had to squint or rush reading to get their message through.

In the video, I only listed SA, but yeah, it was in 3D Blast. I added that small tidbit in this thread.

You're not the only one & I realized that when it was too late. It's sort of why I'm afraid to upload this to YT. I'm experimenting with other settings for the next Zone, so don't worry.

If you're uploading to YT, you can always just use the subtitles feature (or annotations, however I like the former suggestion).

That's probably what I'm gonna do. Youtube version is up, but even with high quality, it's looking like crap.

And speaking of updates, Part 2 is finally up and we're playing as:

Youtube version will hopefully be up sometime tomorrow morning.

EDIT: and they're up. Links in the OP

I do see what you did there. Poor guy, getting stuck with those terrible themes, well, the SA1 one was enjoyable if you look past the lyrics, but for his SA2 theme? Well that just sucked.

I liked the next part of the LP, keep it up GBH

Good so far. But I gots a question:

Are you going to be completing the game with each character, or just showing them off, then completing the game with one specific character?

I do believe that it is safe to assume the latter, soapy.

Also, what I am curious about the 4th character. I really can't think of anything special from him, since... he's so plain, and I am wondering why he was picked and what he can do in the game.

The latter. The emerald hunting, and regular gameplay is being done off-camera, so things should end with just one character with the good ending.

Shadow, too (okay come on it's not like it's a secret).

I mean, they're both basically Sonic clones.

Pretty much, really, especially the 4th guy, but I'll get to him when I get there.

Yeah, he's so much of a sonic clone (4th guy), that he was a base design for sonic. I mean, if you look at his sprite, geez.

The funny thing is, is that the creator of 4th guy (i'm not saying since there might be a few who don't know who it is) actually left SEGA, and took the idea of 4th guy with him, so they can't use that character anymore. Hence why he was only in two games, and one being only in JP (even though the wiki page about it says it was also released in EU, but I don't get that Image)

Well, whatever.

Arcade. Never heard of arcade outside of JP. Never seen in on the internet either.

It did, but they were so rare. From what I read, you could only find the arcade one in SEGA related theme parks (back when they used to have them) and arcades. Chaotix was released everywhere, but due to it being on the 32X, they're just as rare.

So yeah.
